I have a health store and we have had the Acai berry for almost 2 years. Thanks to Oprah the sales have hit the roof. It is a berry, that is all. It is high in antioxidants so it can aid in losing weight, with proper diet and exercise. It would be like eating a blueberry, no side effects, you can get it online and at local health stores. Can not get much safer than a berry. Most powerful berry on the market right now. Anyone can eat the berry, baby to adult. You can get in juice form, pill or plain berries(which are the hardest to get and thus the most expensive) Hope this helps!

If you want to take acai berries for their antioxidant properties, I guess that would be ok, even though there are cheaper antioxidants. If you want to take them to lose weight, save your money. Acai berries don’t help you lose weight. At all. Not even a little bit.
I have recently lost about 30 pounds but need to lose a lot more. I lost the Original weight just through exercising and a healthier lifestyle. I seem to be "stuck" and was researching diet pills. The acai berry pills seems like a very attractive option, and I’ve seen them combined with the colon cleanse.
